LA FINCA –Thursday, 27th May 2021
A small group of members met at the start of the day at The Keg’N’Kitchen to have a sumptuous breakfast before heading off to La Finca for our President’s Day outing.
24 members and guests met at La Finca, where we started the day with a putting competition, which was something different to kick the day off and proved to be quite tricky. Then off to the course, which was in perfect condition.
Weather was overcast but warm and it was not too windy. Overall I think the members found the course long but fair. A few of the late starters were caught up in a rain shower from the 16th to the 18th but fortunately it did not spoil the day.
On return to The Keg’N’Kitchen, our committee members had a busy time sorting out all the prizes.
After the presentations we were treated to a BBQ prepared by Ben and Josh in the kitchen, and Gary and Jodie supplying us with plenty of refreshments throughout the afternoon and evening. Flowers were presented on behalf of the members to the two ladies on the committee, Rita Potters and Sandie Hall, with thanks from the President for all their help. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all and we look forward to seeing you at Lo Romero next month.
