With covid affecting most of the societies at the moment, only 12 players took part in Friday’s medal competition which was sponsored by Wolfgang Schuster.
We were able to welcome back Stella and Simon Fox but many of our members, both in the UK and other parts of Europe are still restricted with their travel to Spain.
This didn’t take away the fact that Peter Gardiner had a great round, winning with a nett 72. Second was Nigel Siddall with a nett 74 and third with a nett 76 was Alan Lowans. The nearest the pins were won by Stella and Alan but there were no two’s.
