Stella triumphed with 36 points today Friday 30 July in what could only be described the hottest day so far at Oliva Nova to win the Yorkshire Rose Bowl sponsored by Mr Gordon Gleeson. 2nd place went to Howard Bridges 35 points and 3rd place was taken Franz Budnik with 33 points. Nearest the pin on the 11th was won by Stella.
We had 1 two today won Nigel Siddall returning from injury, our first 2 for some time.
Credit must be given to the Grounds Staff Team at Oliva Nova which is standing up well to the very hot weather.
Our next competition is a Blue Tee event sponsored by Mr John Day. This will the men with a reduced number of shots and the Ladies should get a few more shots.
