After 4 weeks of rain disruptions to Montgo’s Golf Society Competitions, I am pleased to inform you that after a chilly but sunny start our Stableford Competition was completed by 22 members taking part.
Helmut Pertler was this week’s sponsor, will Sally Cottrell taking top spot with 36 points, in second place was Mike Butler with 35 points and John Day taking 3rd place with 31 points. John also won both the nearest the pins prizes on the 14th & 16th. So it was not only fools day, but John’s Day.
We only had one 2 today and that went to Sally Cottrell on the 3rd hole.
Next Week’s Competition is a Stableford, Sponsored by the Society at Bonalba Golf Club.
