This weeks’ stableford competition saw again only 12 players, many of our members still being away. This is giving our top three players a great chance to take the spoils.
This week was Peter Gardiner’s turn to come first with 35 points, followed by George Braddick with 33 and Caz Welch with 32.
They all play a very steady game and the rest of us will have to up our games to catch them. Nearest the pin on the 11th went to Sally Burrowes but with no one getting on the 5th in two, a card draw went to Alan Lowans.
Mick Farmer had the only two of the day. Next week Montgo will be travelling to Font Del Llop for an away day sponsored by Geoff Willcock and are looking forward to a new test on a very different course.
