Today Montgo Golf Society played a Stableford Competition at Oliva Nova Golf Course sponsored by Hans & Susanne Duner who provided a good selection of prizes, which we thank them for this.
The winner this week was Helmut Pertler with 38points, in 2nd place was Mick Connolly with 36 points beating Franz Budnik into 3rd place on countback.
We had three Nearest the pin prizes today, Geoff Willcock being the winner on the 3rd. Franz Budnik in 2 on the 5th, and not to been out done by her husband Susann Budnik taking the prize on the 16th We had one 2 today with Helmut Pertlea taking home a coveted Montgo Golf Ball.
The society invited Javea Cancer Care Charity along to the club house today to receive our donation to the charity, which members raised 225 euros at our Captains Charity Cup Competition on the 7th October 22.
This was matched by the Society so Sheila Skinner and I had the pleasure to hand over 450 euros to Jayne Nuttall-Blake from Jevea Cancer Care.
