Montgo Golf Society played a 7 up Stableford competition at Oliva Nova Golf course sponsored by Stella Fox with a fine array of home cooked goodies (Chocolate Brownies & Lime Marmalade).
7 up competition was a new format for Montgo GS it consisted of taking individual players seven best stableford points. Most members appear to enjoy this format.
Our winner this week was Helmut Pertler with 22 points, coming in a close second was Caz Welch with 21 points and in third place was Franz Budnik with points.
We had three Nearest the pin prizes on offer today Caz Welch taking the spoils on the 11th, Franz Budnik on the 16th & John Macritchie on the 18th in 2.
We had only one two today and that went to Franz Budnik on the16th so he is taking home a coveted Montgo Golf Ball. Sorry no photo this week, this was due to technical issues or Handicap Sec not reminding me.
