Into September already and Montgo GS played a stableford on Friday sponsored by Sally Cottrell.
Twelve took part including our guest, Derek Burgin. Unfortunately, Derek didn’t complete his round, the heat of the day taking its toll again. Our overall winner was Alan Lowans on 39 points, now cut to 19.7.
Also, with a handicap cut and a score of 37 points was Caz Welch. Caz is continuing to play very well. Her handicap is now 24.5. Third with 34 points was Keith Cottrell. His wife Sally would have taken third with 36 points but sponsors cannot take prizes. Again, Sally played good golf off her handicap of 8.7.
Nigel Siddall won two nearest the pins and the other was won by Stella Fox. There were no two’s this week.
Depending on the number of entries, next week’s competition will be a team game sponsored by the Montgo society.
