Montgo Golf Society played their annual St George’s Day Stableford Trophy Competition.
The sponsor was our Captain George Braddick who also supplied the flags and the prizes consisting of St George’s Day memorabilia.
Members were dressed in Red & White making it a splendid sight for St George.
In first place was Mike Connolly with 38 Stableford points. The runner up was Alan McManus with 36 points & taking 3rd spot was last years winner John Day with 35 points, piping Peter Gardiner into 4th place on count back. The Nearest the pin prizes went to Caz Welch & John Day on the 3rd & 18th holes.
We only had one 2 today with Stella Fox taking home a coveted Montgo Ball. Next Week’s Competition is a medal sponsored by Sylvia Mortensen.
