Montgo Golf Society Played our first competition of 2023 in very chilly conditions, but we had some hardy members still wearing shorts. Yesterday’s competition at Oliva was Sponsored by John Maccritchie, thank you John. The winner today was Pete Turner with 36 Stableford points. In 2nd place on countback was Andrew Brown also with 36 Stableford points. In 3rd place was Ruth Strasser with 35 stableford points. We had two Nearest the Pin prizes on offer today on the 3rd Gents only & 16th Ladies only and taking home the spoils was Helmut Pertler & Ruth Strasser. We had only one 2 today and that was won by The Captain. Next week’s competition is a Stableford again sponsored by Ruth Strasser. We have returning members booking in, so book in early to avoid disappointment
