In association with Costa Blanca Green Fee Services .
For this month’s meeting a group of 24 players visited the established course at Bonalba taking advantage of the excellent society deal obtained from Costa Blanca Green Fee Services.
There was a distinct threat of heavy rain on the way to the course but this burnt off ealy for a splendid day and the course was enjoyed by all and it is probably the greenest course we have played this year.
Today was the “Whacker” trophy in memory of Shaun Dear.
The winning scores on the day were as follows:
1st – Morten Kristensen – 38 points
2nd – Dave Bensley – 37 points
3rd – Mike Probert – 36 points
4th – Tony Robson – 32 points
Nearest the Pins – Dave Bensley (2) and Graham Mason (2)
Dog of a Day – Graham Hall
Best Front Nine – Mick Hildebrand – 15 points, Best Back Nine – Jim Bryce – 17 points
Football Card – Chris Pinder
After the game we returned to Leaf’s Restaurant, which is located at Pueblo Brava, Quesada for a welcome meal prepared by the bar and the prize presentation and we give our thanks for their continued support.
Our next fixture is our Benidorm away trip on 3rd and 4th June 2018 followed by the society day at Alenda on 28th June 2018.
