Thirty members, including a number playing for ‘Handicap’ and 3 guests competed for the Society’s Committee Trophy. The format was an individual stableford competition. The sun shone throughout the day and the wind was not too troublesome, most of the time. Indeed the conditions were almost perfect for golf.
That said however, many of the flags were placed in difficult to access areas of the greens. This coupled with the invariably slick place of most of the greens made good scores difficult to achieve.
We returned to Lo Crispin Tavern,as per usual, where quality Tapas was served by the ever helpful staff and the day’s prizes distributed.
