Friday saw Montgo Golf Society members playing a medal sponsored by Ilona Mathieu. 13 players took part and that was certainly not unlucky for many this week.
A hot sunny day saw some very good scores, the winner this week was John Day on countback from Nigel Siddall with nett 69’s.
Third on countback from Keith Cottrell with nett 70’s was Mick Farmer. Nearest the pins went to Sally Cottrell, Nigel and Mick. Mick and Alan Lowans both had twos. A special prize was also awarded this week by Gordon Gleeson.
To celebrate his Birthday he chose the 13th player to receive golf balls and tee pegs, this went to Mike Connolly.
