This week’s event was sponsored by The Whisky Trail of Speyside which saw some excellent Ballentine’s whisky up for grabs.

It was the ladies who shone through with two excellent score despite the very tricky pin positions that did not seem to concern Sue Harrison with the best score of the day, a great 35 points leading home division 2 followed by the Linda Coe who over the last few weeks was complaining about her golf scoring 32 points and 3rd Derek Gray on 31 points

Division one making it a “Harrison Day” was Steve Harrison on 34 points beating John Daniels on count back and 3rd place was a welcome return for a previous captain Bob Edwards with 32 points

Nearest the pins also winning Whisky was Davis Knight and Steve Smith. No twos were recorded this week which was not surprising with the flags being in the trickiest position on the course for years.

Generally the course was very acceptable condition for early in the year and our next match is at Bonalba a Medal event for the Valentines Cup on the 13th February, first tee 10am further details from Michael Taylor 639242896 or email mjt@stylepms.com
