We had 40 players starting today, not sure how many finished! The conditions were tough, freezing cold and very strong winds contributing to some low scores. One poor player put more balls in the water than his score. (You know who your are!).
We were joined by 5 guests, Fiona Sankey, Paul Sankey, Doug Emson, Roy Jones and Miguel Moya.
The results were for Division 1
1st Steve Boyes with 34 points off 10.4
2nd Derek Lindley with 32 points off 13.1
3rd Andrew Harrison also with 32 points off 16.4
Division 2
1st Tricia Chapman with 31 points off 31.9
2nd Angus Muir with 27 points off 20.1
3rd Patrick Lynch with 25 points off 24.5
Guest winner was Fiona Sankey with 31 points off 37.
Nearest the pin on Hole 5 second shot was Ken Millar with 4m8cm and on Hole 16 with 4m2cm was Steve Crossan.
Due to the poor conditions the number of balls in the water was an incredible 142. As our sheet only goes up to 140 there was no winner and therefore a roll over to next week. Same with the 2’s, nobody today again leading to a rollover to next week.
This week March 27th we have a Team Accumulator, any guests wishing to play, subject to handicap, contact Penny Barden on pegohandicapsec@gmail.com
