20.10.22 – Altorreal Golf Course was the venue for this week’s game for the members of the La Marina Golf Society. The Mike Barbour trophy was competed for with a Texas Scramble and the camaraderie between the players made for a most enjoyable day.
There were three nearest the pins up for grabs, on hole 5 was Graeham Buchanan, hole 8 was Garry Garbett, and hole 10 was Paul Saxton.
All five teams were very close with their scores, however, the runners-up with a score of 74 were Graeham Buchanan, Jimmy Scott, Iain Lyall and Frank Cullen.
The day’s winners with a score of 73 therefore, winning the Mike Barbour trophy were Gordon McLagan, Tony Moore, Bill Allen and Lesley Cullen.
