Montgo played our annual 3 clubs & Putter competition today Sponsored by our old stalwart John Day. Most players trying to adapt to playing shots without the correct clubs in their bags.
The winner today was Caz Welch with 34 points on countback from Gerian van Ooijen also with 34 points. John had prizes for the best Front 9 Hole & Best Back 9 holes and these went to Nigel Siddall 17 points & Geoff Willcock 16 points.
We had three 2’s today with John Day, Gerian van Ooijen & Caz Welch taking home coveted Montgo golf balls.
Next week competition is a stableford sponsored by the society.
