A bright & sunny morning welcome Montgo Golf Society to Oliva Nova Golf Course, where we played our annual Founders Day Competition sponsored by our founder member Russ Peters, unfortunately Russ was unable to play. Members thanked Russ for his continued support of this competition and Montgo Golf Society.
The winner of this trophy was our Secretary Simon Fox with 38 points well done simon. Taking 2nd place was Pete Turner with 34 points, in 3rd place was Mike Connolly with 33 points, beating John Day on count back.
Winners of the Nearest the Pins today was Caz Welch & Keith Cottrell on the 5th & 16th Holes respectively. We had no 2’s today.
Next week we are away at Foressos Golf Course sponsored by the society.
