The largest Indian contingent ever will compete in Spain over the next two weeks to gain access to the Ladies European Tour (LET) at their Qualifying tournament in Murcia, Spain this month. While Vani Kapoor and Amandeep Drall will play the final qualifier Dec 16-20, another 10 Indian pros will tee off in the pre-qualifying event Dec 9 to 12 at the famous La Manga Resort.
Indian players in the pre-qualifying tournament are Pranavi Urs, the US based Sharmila Nicollet, the Bakshi sisters Jahanvi and Hitaashee, Durga Nittur, Ashmitha Sathish, Suchitra Ramesh, Gauri Karhade, Gaurika Bishnoi and Seher Atwal.
The top 60 players out of a total of 156 from the first leg will advance to the final qualifier. The top 25 finishers in the final event will earn full playing rights for 2022, while others will receive limited starts during the 2022 season.
