06.05.2021 – A Bright and Sunny morning greeted the players of La Marina Golf Society for their game at the “Alicante Golf Course”
The Seve Ballesteros designed course was in excellent condition with the greens as challenging as ever.
A good turnout by members made it a great days golfing for us all.
Barry Thorogood not only won the Gold division with 33 points but also claimed the two’s pot.
Jimmy Scott won the Silver division with 40 points.
‘Nearest the Pin’ winners were hole 3 Vic Smith, hole 6 Jeff Wiszniewski, and hole 12 Alan Janes.
The La Marina Golf Society would like to thank all the staff at the La Marina Sports Complex, for their after-game refreshments.
Our next game on the 20th May is for the Cavenita Cup and to be played for at the “La Finca Golf Course” any members wishing to play, please let the club secretary know.
