- Smiling Jacks Golf Society day was followed by the naked chef Presidential BBQ.
A very good turn out for Smiling Jacks Golf this week at Campoamor golf club.
New guests were welcomed and a great day of golf was had. We even had to turn away 6 players as we couldn’t get extra tees.
The layout of the course was very good but the greens were in very poor condition, not what you expect when paying top prices for golf.
There was some great banter going on around the course and laughter could be heard around the whole course.
A big shout out goes to Nick Williams from Casas Costa Blanca South who stepped in to help out when the goal posts were moved. Thank you nick.
We had some great scores and some not so good.
In second place with 39 points was Chris Tate who wins a new handicap of 16.
Todays winner with 42 points was Enda Curtane, well done on your new handicap of 16.
Nearest the pin on number 6 was Ger Hogan, on 17 was Ann Walker and nearest the pin in two on number two was Chris Boddington.
After the presentations it was time for the Presidential naked chef BBQ which went down really well with most people returning for more.
Another great day was had by all and we look forwards to the next outing at Riquelme on Thursday 4th November.
