Now that October is here, more of our members are returning for the Autumn.
Playing in this week’s Oliva Nova Cup were 20 members and it was good to see Gerian van Ooijen, Francien Knoops, Sylvia and Will Evans and Sylvia Mortensen again.
Sally Cox and Chris Chapman were guests this week also. Francien and Will won nearest the pin prizes with Gerian, Francien, Sally and Susanne Duner all having two’s.
The trophy winner this week continuing her great run was Caz Welch with 36 points on count back from Sally Cottrell.
Third, with 34 points was Susanne Duner. The trophy is sponsored by the Oliva Nova Club and Rafa Pedrol, Director of Sport at Oliva, presented the trophy to Caz, along with green fee prizes to the winners.
Next Friday, Montgo are having an away day at Foressos Golf Club near Valencia sponsored by the society.
