29th July 2021 – It was round two of the La Marina Golf Society’s Summer Cup, held at the Bonalba Golf Course.
With its challenging greens the course was no match for today’s members as most of them came into the clubhouse with good scores.
The most enjoyable days golfing was had by all.
Winning the Gold Division with 31 points was Tim Ruse, and the Silver Division was won by John Lywood with 41 points.
We had four players win nearest the pin, Hole 4 was Gerry McCabe, Hole 8 was Rod Loveday who also bagged the two’s pot, Hole 11 was Alan Craig and Hole 14 John Lywood
A big thank you to La Marina Sports complex for laying on our after game refreshments.
Our next game, which will be the 3rd round of the Summer Cup will be at Lo Romero, 12th August, tee time 10.51.
