10.03.22 – The battle lines were drawn for the Captain versus Vice Captain team championship held at the well-kept Alicante golf course. The morning started with a chilly wind but soon warmed up and so did the members, it was nip and tuck throughout the course of the day.
The Vice Captain’s team led by Iain Lyall saw them win the trophy by 42 points to 38. A very gracious Captain Jeff Wiszniewski presented the winning team with their prizes.
The following won nearest the pin prizes, hole 3 – Iain Lyall, hole 6 – John Lywood, hole 12 – Tony Moore, and hole 17 by a new member Phil Rogers.
