Each Tuesday in December, PGATOUR.COM will publish a top-10 ranking that will surely provide plenty of discussion. Last week’s first instalment lists the 10 players who are poised for a comeback, and the names are some of the biggest in the game.
For example, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler made the list. They’ve hit some of the highest highs in the game, including winning FedExCup trophies, THE PLAYERS Championship and major championships, but these 10 players came back down to earth last season.
Now they’re poised to potentially rise again in 2020-21. Something to note: In late December, PGATOUR.COM’s writers will also project the 30 players who will make the TOUR Championship this season. It’s a long way off and much can happen, but hey, it’s always fun to prognosticate.
