On a glorious Saturday morning 52 golfers competed at Campoamor Golf in the annual Captains Day competition. The course was in excellent condition but as usual was not easy to play. In the evening the Captain Michael O’Regan together with his wife Siobhan hosted a Black Tie dinner dance at Campoamor Golf Club attended by 154 people. Many had travelled to Spain especially to attend the event and support the Captain Michael O’Regan, the furthest 3 families all the way from Boston New England the USA and numerous from Ireland.
Fortunately none were affected by the problems with Ryan Air, Monarch or the threatened strike actions in France and Spain.
The evening was a great success, after enjoying the meal in good company dancing the night away to the music of The 2 of US. Congratulations to Michael and Siobhan for organising a successful day’s golf and a great evening. I am told that the party after the party was also a fine event
La Siesta meets every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, anyone interested in playing or joining please ring the Captain on 646416182.
