La Finca Golf Resort and the Miguel Ángel Jiménez Circuit have just signed a contract whereby the national final of the tournament will be held at the resort facilities for three more years (from 2019 to 2021).
The most important youth golf event of the year has been held at La Finca Resort for the last three years, and this December it will once again return to test the skills of the nation’s youngsters coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the resort itself.
More than a hundred young golfers, boys and girls between eight and eighteen years of age, will compete in the national final of the tournament in the categories Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, Cadete and Boys / Girls. The competition, 36 holes over two days, will be played a Medal Play Individual competition and will be attended by Miguel Ángel Jiménez himself, who will give a clinic and tuition on the La Finca Practice range.
Following the 2018 tournament Jiménez said that “the facilities of the Finca Resort are magnificent, all the very best facilities are at hand and you can walk from the hotel”, and as for the golf course itself, Jimenez said that “it is a very fun field, very varied, with spectacular greens.”
The Final of this event has already been held at La Finca Golf Resort in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Brendan Dwyer, general manager of La Finca Resort, said, “it is an honour to host the Miguel Ángel Jiménez final again. His confidence in our management of the event shows that we are doing a good job”.
